Grand Hotel, Llandudno
Submitted by PCE on
The Grand Hotel was designed in 1900 by J. Francis Doyle of Liverpool and at the time was much applauded for its architectural achievement which was likened at the time to a seven storey ‘Fairy Castle’.
The Grand nestles at the food of the Great Orme and is located close to the pier and pavilion and offers splendid views over the bay. For a while it became a Butlins Hotel but now is an 168 en-suite bedroomed hotel with live entertainment and conference complex. Karaoke can be heard from the Connaught Bar.
The Grand Hotlel has its own snooker room.
