Cardiff Arms, Cilgerran.  Taken August 2010Located on the high street and so named after the home city of the pub’s first landlord.  Generally believed the Cardiff Arms opened in readiness of the arrival of the railway.

Cardiff Arms, CilgerranThe landlord in 1907 was one William Mason who was charged twice for serving alcohol on a Sunday but luckily for him the charges were eventually dropped.

The licensees in 1955 were Bryn and Mair Jones and by this time it was a Felinfoel house.

One of the few public houses in Wales with a coracle hanging above the front door.  A focal point for the Coracle Regatta held annually during August.
