Horse and Groom, Cowbridge
Submitted by PCE on
The present imposing Victorian building was built in 1891 whereas the old Horse and Groom was located a few doors down to the east. The inn was first mentioned in 1795 and Lewis Jenkins was the landlord of the old inn between 1878 and 1891. Until being refurbished in the 1980s the inn had hardly changed in a century having a bar, bar parlour, kitchen, commercial room, five bedrooms and billiards room upstairs.
Two pool tables located in the back, also quiz machine and juke box available on premises.
Beer garden in the back
